Bird Cages for Sale

Choosing the Right Bird Cage

Selecting the right cage is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a bird owner. The general rule is to buy the largest cage your space and budget allow — birds need room to move, stretch their wings, and play. Bar spacing matters too: small birds like cockatiels and parakeets need spacing no wider than ½” to prevent injury, while larger parrots such as African Greys and Amazons can safely use cages with 1” spacing or more.

Dome top vs. play top: Dome top cages provide more interior space and a classic look. Play top cages include a built-in activity area on the roof — perches, ladders, and sometimes feeding cups — giving your bird a designated out-of-cage hangout spot. Both styles are available in most size ranges in our store.

Victorian open top cages add a decorative element and allow your bird to perch at the top of the cage when supervised. These work well for tame, sociable birds that spend time out of their cage daily.

Not sure what size or style is right for your bird? Our staff can walk you through the options in person. We carry all of these cages in-store in Mesa, and we offer delivery and in-home setup throughout the greater Phoenix area. Contact us or stop by — we’re open seven days a week.
