Mobile Bird Services — We Come to You

Not everyone can easily get a bird to the store — and we get that. Arizona Bird Store now offers mobile bird services throughout Arizona. Our trained staff brings the same expert care we provide in-store directly to your home, so your bird gets the attention it needs without the stress of travel.

Mobile services available:

  • Mobile Bird Grooming — Wings, nails, and beak trims at your location. Same experienced groomers, same level of care as an in-store visit.
  • Gender Testing (DNA Sexing) — We collect the sample on-site and send it to the lab. Results are typically back within a week.
  • Microchipping — Permanent ID for your bird, done in the comfort of your home. Available for medium to extra-large birds.
  • Training — In-home sessions for biting, cage aggression, step-up refusal, and other behavioral issues. Working in your bird’s own environment often produces faster results than a clinic visit.

Grooming

Wings, nails, and beak trims by experienced groomers. We recommend coming in every other month, and we’re comfortable working with birds that have malformations or special needs.

Boarding

Heading out of town? We’ll take good care of your bird while you’re away. Bring your own cage or use one of ours. We board year-round with daily rates and discounted pricing for extended stays — no minimum or maximum length.

Microchipping

Available for medium to extra-large birds. A microchip gives your bird a permanent ID number that can be scanned and matched back to your registration — a simple safeguard if they’re ever lost or stolen.

DNA Sexing

Many birds are impossible to sex by sight alone. We send a sample to the lab and typically have results back within a week.

Band Removal

If your bird’s leg band is causing irritation or discomfort, we can remove it safely in-store. Just give us a call to set it up.

Training

Biting, cage aggression, step-up refusal, bonding with only one person — our staff has dealt with it all. Come in or give us a call and we’ll figure out the right approach for your bird.
